Read, listen to, or comment on Erroll Davis’ provocative plenary session. Davis is chancellor of the University System of Georgia, a post he assumed after serving as president, CEO, and chair of two major companies. Here, he looks at the contrasts and similarities between higher education and corporate governance.
3. Some hard truths about college spending
Jane Wellman’s research for the Delta Cost Project—presented in the session “Understanding the Costs of ‘Doing Business as Usual’ in Higher Education”—reveals the growing imbalance in real spending trends in higher ed finance.
